Abstract Submission Process:

Step 1: Online submission of abstract

All abstracts must only be submitted online via the congress website http://www.aocn2016.com/. Abstracts submitted by fax, email, or post will NOT be accepted. In submitting the abstract, the author grants the Organizers of the 15th Asian and Oceania Congress of Neurology (AOCN 2016) the right to publish the abstract both in hard and electronic forms.

 

 Step 2: Screening of abstracts by panel of reviewers

 

Step 3: Release of screening results

Notice of acceptance/rejection will be sent via email to the corresponding authors on or after 20 April 2016. If the abstract is accepted, author will have until 10 May 2016 to register for the congress.

 

Step 4: Registration of selected presenters

Selected presenters will be asked to register on the online portal by 10 May 2016 to confirm their attendance. If they do not register by the deadline their abstract will not be included.

 

 Abstract Submission Deadline

 All abstracts must be submitted on or before 30March 2016. The online submission system will be closed at 00:00 hours, 31  March 2016, Midnight (CET). All abstracts submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

 

Guidelines for Abstract Submission:

  1. Abstracts must be written exclusively in English.
  2. Abstracts will be selected for either oral or poster presentation
  3. Abstract must be limited to 250 words and must be concise and clear, highlighting the most relevant aspects, findings and conclusions.
  4. Section breaks are not mandatory.
  5. Use only standard abbreviations. Special or unusual abbreviations are not recommended. If otherwise necessary, the latter should be placed in parenthesis after the first appearance of the full word, except for unit symbols. Numeral rather than words may be used to indicate numbers.
  6. The Abstract should be submitted in TEXT only.
  7. There is no maximum number of images and the images will not affect the word count. There should only be a maximum of 3 tables with no more than 10 rows and/or 10 columns per table.
  8. References are not required for abstract submission
  9. Submitters can submit up to two abstracts.
